TIES Student Internship Programme (TSP)

The TIES Student Internship Programme provides students with practical experience in ecological research, conservation, and sustainable development through both field and lab-based activities. The program is open to students pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degrees, including those from history,visual media communication, journalism, commerce and engineering backgrounds, offering interdisciplinary exposure to environmental challenges.

Key Features:

• Hands-on experience in biodiversity conservation, environmental education, sustainable agriculture, waste management, water conservation, and habitat restoration.
• Field-based activities such as species monitoring, ecological surveys, conservation projects, and habitat assessments.
• Lab-based research including sample analysis (water quality, soil quality, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, phytochemical, DRC, etc.), specimen identification, and environmental sampling.
• Opportunities to work alongside experts on real-world conservation projects.
• Customizable internships tailored to students' academic backgrounds and career goals.
